Executive Board Change at IBIS Prof. Thome AG

Prof. Dr. Andreas Hufgard is withdrawing from the management of the company but will remain with the company as a Senior Strategic Advisor.

“My focus has always been on the continuous, innovative development of products and projects. The tools developed by the IBIS teams are a combination of methods, tools, and content that solve many problems for our customers and partners. I would like this to continue for the next 30 years,” explains Prof. Dr. Andreas Hufgard. “I am very pleased to have gained Fabian Krüger, an excellent expert who knows the company inside and out.”

Until now, Prof. Dr. Andreas Hufgard, together with Dr. Christian Schneider, has led the fortunes of IBIS Prof. Thome AG, the expert in usage analysis in the SAP environment, pioneer in the digitization of auditing, and strategic cooperation partner of SAP.

On January 1, 2025, Fabian Krüger, a homegrown talent, took on the position of CTO. He began 17 years ago as a student worker at IBIS while studying business administration at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg.

“Right after submitting my thesis, I was able to gain initial customer experience on a project in South Africa,” says the 37-year-old Fabian Krüger. In addition to numerous successful customer and development projects over the past few years, Fabian was already responsible for IBIS’s web development. He is married, has a son, and enjoys cooking and baking in his spare time.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Hufgard will continue to contribute his expertise and experience to the strategic partnerships of IBIS Prof. Thome AG. 🤝
