Intelligent use of RBE Plus technology: Halo for SAP
In 2014, PwC Germany entered into a strategic partnership with IBIS Prof. Thome AG to further improve the quality of auditing with the help of digital technologies and to jointly develop innovative solutions. The first result of this cooperation is “Halo for SAP”, intelligent software that supports auditors in identifying key audit areas, system and process audits as well as audits of individual matters. Thanks to RBE Plus technology, analyses are carried out directly in the client systems and enable a rule-based, complete audit of all postings. This combines the specialist audit expertise of PwC with the SAP know-how of IBIS to create a unique tool that is second to none. The cooperation and the exchange of know-how also offer potential for further areas of application to improve quality in consulting and ESG.
